A Word from the Director of Studies
MTIS middle school, as well as all the other levels – pre-primary, primary and high school level – is a bilingual Romanian school with international perspectives, authorized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Committee for Pre-University Education of The Ministry of Education and Research.
The curriculum follows the national structure, the manuals are official, but, unlike the ordinary romanian schools, Mark Twain International Middle School offers its students the possibility to study thoroughly the English language, to successfully participate to the Cambridge tests, it offers them interesting and attractive optional subjects which cover all their interests.
The team of teachers is highly professional. Our teachers are very well prepared, they have attended perfecting courses, they are authors of manuals and members of national committees, involved in international programmes, with teaching degrees, master’s and doctor’s degrees.
